MNPS students� tete-e-tete with Srilankan counterpart

Jamshedpur, April 2: A video conferencing session was organized at Motilal Nehru Public School with Janadhipati Balika Vidayalaya, Sri Lanka under British Council International School Award project on Thursday morning.

The objective of this video conferencing was to exchange information on culture, dance, food and religion. The students of Janadhipati Balika Vidayalaya, Sri Lanka and Motilal Nehru Public School(MNPS), India also gave live performances.

They appreciated each other�s cultures and also exchanged their views on endangered species of the world and the government policies adopted by their respective governments.

A large number of students of class IX/ X participated in video conferencing. It was a moment of joy and pride for students of both the schools as they spoke in each other�s language.

One of our students, Fasiha Anjum of Class X commented that for the first time she had taken part in video conferencing with the students of another country and she felt very excited as it was a very informative session.

The above session took place under the guidance of ISA co coordinators Mrs. Bindu Ahuja and Mrs. Smita Majumdar.
