Jamshedpur: Junior engineers at Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) displayed their skills through the innovative models they showcased at the exhibition held in the school on Thursday.
The models were prepared by the students during the Science activity and Maths activity class throughout the year. A bunch of nearly 60 students eagerly explained their models to other students, faculty members and other guests.
Total of 50 models were put on display which were based on the principles of clarity, understanding and relevance. The model includes escalator, vacuum cleaner, bubble-making machine and other gadgets made by the students of classes III, IV and V.
The students of the Math club also made models depicting Pythagoras theorem, geometrical shapes, mensuration fraction and other topics.
Students who bagged awards prizes for Maths model are the team led by Shristi Raj (VII B), Yash Sinha (IX B), Equra Samreen (VII C) and AyushTripathy(VI A).
Students who bagged prizes for Science model are the team led by Rishank Yadav (III C)Arnav Sinha (V C ) and Adity Kumari (V A).
Students were guided by Reshmi Mandal and Moumita Sarkar for this event. School managing committee members and other guests appreciated the skill building initiative taken by the school.
