Jamshedpur, Aug. 9: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) on Wednesday held a special session for the students of class 11 and 12 informing them about their rights and duties.
Principal of the school, Ashu Tiwary spoke to the students about their fundamental rights, which needs to be exercised with caution. Every student has a right to self- expression, but not at the behest of someone else.
The Principal counseled students to set parameters for themselves. It was important for them to put themselves into the other persons shoes and think while doing anything. Students were informed that their focus now had to be academics and career growth.
Two years of hard work would lead to many years of success in life.
Students were reminded that only 2 civilizations wrote Epics, India and Greece. Both our epics, the Mahabharata and the Ramayana hold good even today.
‘We must value and cherish our Indian Value System which expects that all people in society must maintain decorum in their actions. Any action that can make your mother proud of you is a good action’, added Mrs Tiwary.
