MNAC launches drive against polythene

Jamshedpur: A special cleaning drive was carried out in several localities of Mango on Sunday, courtesy Mango Notified Area Committee. It was run in Chanakyapuri, Shantinagar and other localities of Mango. The river banks were also cleaned during the campaign.

MNAC Special Officer Rajendra Prasad Gupta said public cooperation was must to make the campaign successful. He appealed to the residents to segregate their waste and dump them in dustbins. Plastic bags still in stock of possession of the people should be deposited without fear with the MNAC, Gupta said.

Among those present during the drive included Anamika, Uttam Chakravarty, Rakesh Kumar and Raj Kamal.
