Ranchi: A delegation of JVM (P) under the leadership of Babulal Marandi met assembly speaker Dinesh Oraon.
The JVM (P) leaders requested the speaker to disqualify the rebel JVM (P) legislators who joined BJP.
The JVM (P) argued that all the defecting legislators had resigned from primary memberships of the party on their own, therefore under Section 10 of the Constitution they ought to be disqualified from the House.
The assembly speaker said that he would take actions as per Constitutional and legal provisions.
The delegation comprised Babulal Marandi, KK Poddar, advocate RN Sahay and Aziz Mubariki.
