MLA Saryu Roy intervenes in drainage crisis in Mango

Jamshedpur: Acting on complaints from residents of Mango’s Deshbandhu Line and Nityanand Colony, MLA Saryu Roy directed immediate action to clean a choked drain that had remained unattended for five years.

Residents described the situation as “hellish,” particularly during monsoons. Taking swift action, Roy tweeted Deputy Commissioner to ensure a permanent solution.

Following his intervention, Mango Municipal Corporation officials, including Assistant Municipal Commissioner Arvind Agarwal, began the clean-up under the supervision of local leaders. Officials assured the public that long-term measures would follow.
