MLA demands separate Kharsawan subdivision

Seraikela, Mar 9: Kharsawan MLA Dashrath Gagrai has demanded a separate sub-division for Kharsawan combining the blocks of Kharsawan with Kuchai. 
Raising the issue during zero hours of the state assembly on Tuesday, the MLA said that this would be beneficial in terms of administrative reasons too. Significantly, both Kharsawan and Kuchai block are under Seraikela sub-division at the moment. 
The Kharsawan MLA also raised the issue of delay in the construction work of a Kolhan residential school in line with the famous Netarhat school at Jojodemba mouza in Khuntpani block.. The secretary of school education and literacy department replied that all 24 districts will soon be having school of excellence along with girls school having residential facilities will be set up in each of the 24 districts of the state.
