Ranchi, June 30: In a shocking incident at Khadgada bus stand near KantaToli Chowk of Lower Bazar police station area, a 15-year-old minor boy set fire to nine parked buses on Thursday, causing significant damage and panic among onlookers.
The minor boy, whose identity has been withheld due to legal restrictions, reportedly used a spray of spirit and a lighter to ignite the buses. Prompt police action led to the swift arrest of the minor, who is currently being interrogated to determine the motive behind his destructive actions.

Authorities suspect that several individuals may have been involved in this incident, and investigations are underway to identify and apprehend any accomplices. The police recovered the spray and lighter from the possession of the minor, which served as key evidence in establishing his involvement.
During the interrogation, the minor admitted to spraying the flammable liquid near the fuel tanks of the buses before igniting them with the lighter. The rapid spread of the fire caused extensive damage to the vehicles, heightening concerns over public safety.

Sources revealed that the minor resides in the Namkum area of Ranchi and had been employed as a porter at the Khadgarha bus stand for the past few days. However, recent events took a negative turn when he was terminated from his job. Fueled by anger and resentment, he allegedly resorted to the destructive act of setting the buses ablaze as a form of revenge.
