Ranchi: The state agriculture minister Yogendra Sao has written to the Union agriculture minister Sharad Pawar to demand measures by the Central government to ensure adequate supply of potatoes to Jharkhand.
He has alleged that the potato crisis in the state has been created as a result of the decision taken by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He said the stopping of potato trucks in West Bengal had created shortage of potatoes in the state.
