Jamshedpur, August 25: State food and civil supplies minister Saryu Rai has ordered the departmental secretary to make a markings outside the homes of families who are included under Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY).
Minister said that after the national food security act 2013 was made applicable and after central government set the limits to the number of digitization for Jharkhand there were issues at several places that there are several families under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana who are not eligible to for the scheme.
Saryu Rai informed that the list under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana is fixed and the qualification for the families who are part of the scheme is evident.
There is a need to identify the families who are not eligible for the Antyodaya Anna Yojana during the digitization.
The most simple method for the identification would be to mark the houses of the families who are part of the Antyodaya Anna Yojana under the national food security act and through this truth will come forward.
This will help remove the families who are not eligible from Antyodaya Anna Yojana ‘, added Rai. Minister also appealed the families who are not eligible to move themselves out.
