MGNREGS workers meet Potka MLA

Jamshedpur: A delegation of workers met the MLA of Potka Menka Sardar under the banner of Jharkhand State MGNREGS Employees Association on Tuesday and handed her a petition demanding equal pay for equal work. Leading the delegation, the outfit general secretary Ishwar Lal Sardar said the MGNREGS workers of the state have been working on nominal wages and that the Supreme Court has odered regularization of all contract workers.
The MLA assured to take up the demands of the MGNREGS workers with Chief Minister Raghubar Das.
Those who met the MLA included Sumant Seet, Rajnikant Das, Vrikodar Bhakt, Ramkrishna Kaivat, Himanshu Mandal and Kanchan Das.
