Jamshedpur: Potka MLA Menka Sardar joined the Swachh Bharat campaign in Haldipokhar under the Swachhata Hi Seva programme being run by the district administration.
Addressing the people, the MLA said the villagers and traders should keep their households, surroundings and public places clean so as to avoid falling prey to various epidemic diseases.
The legislator held a broom in her band and cleaned public places along with hundreds of villagers who cleaned the Haldipokhar market. She asked people to keep their households, shops and surroundings clean all the time so as to lead a healthy life.
The participants of the campaign included Diwakar Dubey, Manoj Kumar Ram, Santosh Bhanj, Anil Kumar, Ratan Sonkar, Upendra Nath and Santu Bagti.
