Jamshedpur, Dec 7: East Singhbhum district administration has received more than 8000 applications during the one-day MGNREGS (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme) camp organized in the various panchayats. The camp was organized on the directive of Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav. Out of these, 2584 applications have been filed for availing the benefits of new scheme under MGNREGS, sources said.
