Jamshedpur: Patients and other visitors to the MGM Hospital were in for a shock on Saturday when one of the doctors, Dr Laxman, a surgeon, turned up on duty in an inebriated condition. The doctors allegedly misbehaved with several people on the hospital premises. The chaos continued for some time before Dr Laxman was advised by his colleagues to go home. When he was unable to drive his car, he was sent home in an rickshaw by the security personnel of the hospital.
Contacted, the hospital superintendent said an inquiry would be conducted into the allegations against Dr Laxman.
