Jamshedpur, June 29: A workshop on the prevention of swine flu and bird flu was organized in the seminar hall of MGM Hospital on Wednesday.
The speakers informed that swine flu and bird flu were mainly types of influenza. If a person has cough and cold with fever lasting for more than 10 days, they should immediately go for Covid-19 and swine flu test, they said.
The doctors said that swine flu was no longer a fatal disease if it is treated on time. They said the health department had also come up with a swine flu vaccine on the lines of Covid-19 vaccine.
