Meritorious KPS Kadma students awarded at prize night

Jamshedpur, August 22: Kerala Public School, Kadma held it’s Annual Prize Nite 2018 on Thursday. The Chief Guest on this occasion was Commanding Officer, Neeraj Kumar.

The Chief Guest lit the ceremonial lamp accompanied by the Principal, Sharmila Mukherjee and the Director, Sharat Chandran. The Principal presented the annual school report. She highlighted the achievements of the school in the past year.

Meritorious students were awarded trophies and certificates as proud parents and teachers looked on. Rolling trophies and cash awards were also awarded to the toppers in the ICSE and ISC examination 2018.

The wonder kids who achieved flying colors and topped the chart were felicitated. In ISC Shreya Chanda (Science), Swati Sahay (Commerce) and Antara Sarkar (Arts) were awarded. In ICSE Diptonil Roy (Science) and Vishnu Sharat (Commerce) were felicitated.

The 2nd and the 3rd position holders of ISC 2018 were also awarded. Shweta Kumari and Rhitikesh Raj in Science. Ankita Kumari and Jyoti Kumari in Commerce. Anoushka Mitra and Rinki Ghosh in Arts.

The 2nd and 3rd position holders of ICSE 2018 who were felicitated were Dipti Agarwal and Abhinav Kumar in Science. Simran Kumari and Shrucha Pandya in Commerce.

3 students who were 6 Pointers in ICSE who were felicitated were Dipti Agarwal, Diptonil Roy and Niyati Bhusal.

Rolling Trophies were handed out to students scoring 95% and above in different subjects. These trophies have been generously donated by our school teachers. Students securing 90%and above were also awarded.

Students of classes 6 to 11, were also honoured. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders in all the class sections were given certificates. The overall best performers in all the classes were awarded too. Niharika Harpal in class 6, Harshit Raj in class 7,Anik Das in class 8,Prasenjit Chanda and Yuvraj Gupta in class 9,Abhirup Chakraborty , Anjali Kumari and Ankita Verma in class 11.

After a beautiful dance performance by the students of the school, the Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the management, teachers and students and wished the students a bright future. The evening drew to its closure with Jaishree K, Headmistress delivering the vote of thanks.
