Jamshedpur, Sep 22: Dayanand Public School organized Achievers Award on 22nd September 2021 to felicitate the students who excelled in the board Examination during the academic year 2019-20. The program scheduled earlier was delayed due to Covid-19. All the subject toppers were also recognized during the ceremony.
Cash prizes were awarded to the students under the “scholarship scheme” announced by the school management.
Aman Kumar currently pursuing Engineering at IIT Ropar, Punjab received cash prize of Rs. 20,000. Aditya Raj of Std. X who secured 7th Rank in Jharkhand session 2019-20 was awarded with cash prize of Rs.15,000. Riya Gupta of Std. X also received Rs. 15,000 cash prize.
Chief Guest for the occasion Dr. R.N. Sharma, Chairman, Jamshedpur Arya Samaj Trust, while addressing the gathering urged the parents to allow their children to choose the career their ward wants.
The parents should not discriminate between boys and girls and provide equal opportunity to both the child. Gian Taneja, Rajiv Talwar, Ramesh Nandrajog and other trustee members of the Jamshedpur Arya Samaj, Swarna Mishra, Principal, Dayanand Public School and school teachers were present during the occasion.
