‘Mera Poudha, Meri Santhan� is a unique campaign: Saryu

Jamshedpur: State food minister Saryu Roy praised Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee officials on Monday for launching the �Mera Poudha, Meri Santan� campaign in the city with the view to create greenery. He said such efforts should be put in by other civic bodies in the city as well.
Roy was speaking as the chief guest at a function held on the premises of JNAC office on Monday. He distributed saplings among parents who had come for birth certificates of their wards. He asked everyone to take care of the plants like their own children.
JNAC Special Officer Sanjay Kumar, City Manager Ravi Bharti, Assistant Statistics Officer Rajendra Kumar and Ramesh Prasad were also present on the occasion.
