Jamshedpur: On the auspicious occasion of Aadi Krithigai, special pujas were performed for Lord Karthik at Sri Dharma Saastha Temple on Monday. As part of this, pujas commenced this morning with Havan for Lord Ganapati, followed by Ekadasha Rudrabhishek for Lord Karthik and Sahasranama Archana. Later on Maha Deeparadhana was shown and prasad was distributed to the devotees present at the temple. In the evening, Sahasranama Archana once again was performed and Maha Deeparadhana was performed for Lord Karthik. Devotional songs praising Lord Karthik were rendered by the members of Acharya Bhakta Sabha. Pujas were performed by temple priests Sankara Bhat and Nagraj Bhat. K S Jayaraman, Shiv Kumar, B Visweswaran, V Natarajan, Srinivas and many other members assisted to make the pujas successful.
