Gamharia, June 2: Social worker and member of Corruption Control and Public Welfare organization, Rahul Dev Mahato submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner demanding immediate action against parking of vehicles on either side of the busy tata-Kandra and Chowka road. The memorandum pointed out that coal, iron ore and iron laden trucks moving to and from various factories in the industrial areas were being parked haphazardly on either side of the road between Kandra Rail over-bridge and Gidibeda toll gate leading to inconvenience of movement for smaller vehicles and pedestrians. The memorandum blamed such unauthorized parking as the leading cause of several road mishaps including fatal accidents.
