Jamshedpur: Rajendra Vidyalaya management on Tuesday withdrew the suspension of girl students accused of showing indiscipline by wearing mehandi in their hands.
The suspension was revoked after a delegation of Shiksha Satyagrah, a city-based organization, met the school Principal Rakhi Banerjee, and requested her not to take such harsh action against the students.
The outfit leader Ankit Anand said the school should respect the religious sentiments of one and all. They said the students wore mehandi on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan which is no offence.
