Jamshedpur, March 31: A Mega Health Camp was organized at BR Seva Sadan in Garhabasa where 300 patients were treated for various diseases and tips provided to them for prevention and recurrence of their ailments.
Doctors attending the patients at the free health camp included Dr GN Sharma (diabetes and general physician), Dr Manorama Siddhesh and Dr Renu Roy Chowdhury (specialists in female diseases), Dr Sashi Shekhar Singh and Dr AK Singh (dermatologists), Dr Rajiv Thakur (skin specialist), Dr Ritu Kumar Roy (female skin disease specialist), Dr OP Thakur and Dr Pallavi Thakur (general physicians).
Dr RP Thakur was a senior doctor at Tata Main Hospital but whenever he had time to spare he used to provide free treatment to poor and needy patients and even arranged for free medicines to be distributed among them. It was because of this nature of the late Dr RP Thakur that this year on the occasion of his second death anniversary that this free mega health camp was organized today.
People who helped out in facilitating health checkup of people at this camp included Surendra Sharma, Anuj Kumar, Chandan, Akhilesh Thakur and the registration team.
