Jamshedpur: The Mango Nagar Hindu Utsav Samiti held a meeting at Marina City in Jawaharnagar and asked members to rise above social and political principles and participate in the procession to be taken out on April 5 to celebrate the Hindu New Year. The members from various political and social groups took a pledge to participate in the procession in unison irrespective of socio-political perspectives.
The procession will include members of the Hindu community from Pardih, Jawaharnagar and Old Purulia Road. Among those present in the meeting included Mrityunjay Singh, Vijay Tiwary, Pappu Singh, Rajiv Kumar Singh, Animesh Sinha, Sunil Singh, Guddu Singh, Manoj Gupta, Jitu Pandey and Lalan Tiwary.
