Jamshedpur, Oct 1: Idea of blood donation is very great, said Chairman of Red Cross Society East Singhbhum and DC Dr. Amitabh Kaushal after inaugurating the Blood donation camp on the occasion of World Blood Donation day at Red Cross Bhawan on Thursday, October 1.
DC further said that the way people of the city have come forward to donate blood is quite commendable. At the camp total of 863 units of blood was collected.
Workers of Red Cross along with students of NCC wings of the college and Sanjay Choudhary of Jamshedpur Blood Bank provided their full support.
Also present at the event were Convenor of the camp Chandulal Bhalotia, Social Worker Beli Bodhanwala, Secretary of Blood Bank Nalini Rammurthy, Secretary of Red Cross Vijay Kumar Singh and others were present.
