Jamshedpur: A district level meeting was convened on Tuesday in view of Prime Ministerís 15 Point Programme in East Singhbhum.
It was attended by the MP of Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato, Baharagora MLA Kunal Sarangi, representative of Jamshedpur East MLA Pawan Agrawal, representative of Jamshedpur West MLA Chitranjan Verma, deputy development commissioner Vinod Kumar, director of ITDA Parmeshwar Bhagat and district welfare officer.
The participants reviewed the current status of the various projects being run in the district on the basis of the 15 Point priorities related to the welfare of minorities.
They discussed at length about the planning and implementation of future targets. The main subjects of discussion included child development, education, skill development, self employment, hygiene, health and security.
Sources said the MP and MLAs along with the administration officials discussed plans to open more anganbari centres, establishing madarasas, appoint Urdu teachers, distribute stipends among minority students and open skill development and self employment training centres in Mango and other parts of the city.
