Chaibasa, March 27: Munda Samaj held a meeting at Mahulsai Chaibasa on Sunday to celebrate the Sahrul festival on April 10.
A decision in this regard was taken in a joint meeting of Adivasi Munda Saamj Vikas Samity and Adivasi Munda Saaj Mahila Vikas Samity held here today.
President of the central committee Budhram Laguri said that Sahrul is an auspicious festival as they plant shal tree on this occasion and worship it.
�We offer our worship at Deswali Sarana on the occasion and it is our symbol of unification,� he added.
Those present at the meeting included Ghasiram Munda, Indramohan Sandil, Shiv Shankar Munda, Lilamoti Munda and a large number people from the Munda Samaj.
