Medical team on door-to-door vaccination drive in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Following instructions of Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar, a door-to-door survey campaign is being conducted by the team of Vaccination Cell from February 8. In the first phase, this campaign is being conducted in 11 police station areas under Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, where immunization of eligible beneficiaries who could not take Kovid vaccine due to some reason on the spot is also being done.

The survey campaign is being conducted with a focus on the eligible beneficiaries in the age group of 15-18 years, but on the spot any person of 18 plus and 60 plus who have not taken the first, second or precaution dose is also being vaccinated.

The district administration is striving for effective prevention of corona infection and to cover 100% eligible beneficiaries with the Covid vaccine. After successful operation of this campaign in 11 police station areas under Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, it is to be expanded to other areas as well. It is the effort of the district administration that 100 percent children should be vaccinated before the scheduled time of 10th and 12th board examination which is to be conducted offline, as well as eligible beneficiaries of 18 plus and 60 plus who have not taken covid vaccine.
