Jamshedpur, Feb 9: Under the National Clean Air Program, a workshop was organized in the auditorium of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee. The workshop was organized by the Center for Environment and Energy Development. It was conducted as per the guidelines of Zero Waste Event. The main objective of the workshop was to increase the capacity of the officers for the implementation of the National Clean Air Program and to make them aware about the nuances related to it.
Inaugurating the program, Special Officer Krishan Kumar said that many measures are being taken to prevent air pollution in Jamshedpur city.
He said that by organizing such workshops, we will get more ambiguity as to how air pollution can be further reduced. CEED’s Ankita added that the body, the Transport Department, the Pollution Control Board and the Traffic Department worked together to make Hawaii clean.
Officials of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, Mango Municipal Corporation, Jugsalai Municipal Council, State Pollution Control Board, District Transport Department and Traffic Department were present in the workshop.
