Jamshedpur, May 31: In a remarkable initiative, Kadma Uliyan situated Brahmanand Seva Sadan launched a meal service for poor people in the city.
They will be treated to a healthy meal at only Rs 10. The meal consists of rice, roti, dal, a sabzi (curry), pickle and sweet. The initiative was launched by the trustee of Brahmanand Seva Sadan, Monu Bhattacharya on May 31.
He said that though the scheme was being planned from past but was launched today. It was basically meant for poor people, others could also have the food. ‘The meal service will be available for the poor till my last breath’, added Monu.
The food is presently available at Bhrahmlok Dhaam from 12 noon to 2 pm. The service will be launched at Brahmanand Multispecialty Hospital at Tamolia on June 5 were rice, roti, dal, a sabzi (curry), pickle and sweet will be provided for only Rs 10. Based on the response the service will be extended in the night too.
