Baharagora: Labour Day was celebrated with fervour in Baharagora. A procession was taken out on this occasion by Communist Party of India workers who were led by former MLA Devi Pad Upadhyaya and veteran leader Anil Rana. Tributes were paid to martyrs following flag hoisting by party workers. A cultural programme was also organized by local folk artists. Former minister Dr Dinesh Kumar Sarangi addressed workers and appealed to them to rise against all oppression. A seminar was held at Zila Parishad Dak Bungalow.
