Potka: A felicitation ceremony was organized in Sidhu Kanhu Memorial High School, Narwa Pahar, on Friday to honour Matriculation Board exam toppers of the school, Sriram Ho and Laxmi Posi.
The school principal Banwari Das praised the students for their outstanding performance in the Matriculation Board examination. He said the students had done the school proud by scoring high marks in the crucial exam of their student life.
Sriram Ho secured a total of 431 out of 500 to become the first topper of the school while Laxmi Posi got 427 to occupy the second spot.
The principal said the school had long been reeling under shortage of resources. Despite limited resources, the school has been able to ensure good performance in the Matriculation Board exams, he said.
Among those present on the occasion included assistant teacher Duluram Sardar, Sushil Kumar Soren, Rajan Murmu, Rajni Kant Mahato, Jayanti Munda and Ardhendu Kumbhkar.
