Matric-Inter exams: Seraikela DC holds meeting, guidelines issued for magistrates

Seraikela: In view of Matriculation and Intermediate examinations starting from Thursday, March 24 and ensuring law and order, Deputy Commissioner Arva Rajkamal gave important instructions for malpractice free examinations. Matriculation exam will be held in the first shift and Inter exam will be in the second shift.

Rajkamal gave several directions to the static and flying squad penal officers deputed for the examination. He directed to complete all the preparations well in advance to deliver the question papers and answer sheets to the examination centers on time. He said that compliance of Covid-19 protocol should be ensured in letter and spirit at all the examination centers and adequate number of bench-desks, CCTV, drinking water and toilet facilities would be mandatory at all the centers selected for matriculation and inter examination. Simultaneously, for the purpose of conducting the malpractice free examination, all the concerned officers have been entrusted with their responsibility for the malpractice free examination . The Deputy Commissioner said that carrying any kind of electronic equipment in the examination centers would be prohibited. All the candidates will make sure to reach the examination center on time.

According to information, Static Magistrate, Static Police Officer, Armed Forces, Question Paper cum Patrol Magistrate and Question paper cum police officer have been deputed. All deputed magistrates and police officers have been directed to discharge their duties properly. In the meeting, all the magistrates and central superintendents were informed about the duties to be discharged by them. Along with this, the center superintendents are directed to ensure installation and monitoring of CCTV cameras at their respective examination centers, arrangement of drinking water for the candidates, provision of adequate lighting in the room, toilets and other basic facilities for all the candidates including the differently-abled candidates. 

The examination of Secondary Examination-2022 will be held from 9.45 am to 1.05 pm and Intermediate Examination (Arts, Science and Commerce)-2022 will be held from 2.00 pm to 5.20 pm. It may be noted that the Secondary Examination-2022 will be held from 24.03.2022 to 20.04.2022. At the same time, the intermediate examination (Arts, Science and Commerce) will be held from March 24 to April 25.

13618 students in matric and 8072 in inter to appear

A total of 42 examination centers have been set up in the district for matriculation examination, in which a total of 13618 candidates will appear. A total of 16 examination centers have been set up in the district for the Intermediate examination, in which a total of 8072 candidates will appear.
