Master Athletics Association of Jharkhand welcomes international athlete Gyan Singh to boost sports development

Jamshedpur, Sep 28: A special function was held at the Telco Officers Club in Jamshedpur on Sep 28, where the President of the Master Athletics Association of Jharkhand (MAAJ), Gurudev Singh, and General Secretary Sanjeev Kumar Tomar warmly welcomed renowned international athlete Gyan Singh. The event celebrated Gyan Singh’s impressive contributions to sports administration and coaching.

Gurudev Singh and Tomar expressed their excitement about Gyan Singh joining MAAJ, highlighting his remarkable achievements in the field. Gyan Singh, a distinguished sports administrator, holds a diploma in coaching from the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Eastern Centre, Kolkata. He has also served as the President and Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Bihar Athletic Association, making significant changes to streamline operations and enhance the sporting framework in Jharkhand.

The leadership of MAAJ emphasized that Gyan Singh’s extensive experience and insights will be invaluable in advancing the organization’s goals and uniting the athletic community of Jharkhand on a single platform.
