Jamshedpur, October 2: A delegation from the Master Athletics Association of Jharkhand (MAAJ), led by General Secretary and international thrower S.K. Tomar, met with Tata Steel’s Chief of Sports, Mukul Vinayak Chaudhari on Tuesday. The meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming state-level Master Athletic Championship, scheduled to be held in December at the JRD Sports Complex, Jamshedpur.
Key issues related to the successful organization of the event were discussed in detail. The number of participants is expected to surpass last year’s turnout, and preparations are progressing rapidly to ensure a well-organized competition. Mukul Chaudhari assured full support for a smooth and successful event.
The delegation included association’s chief patron and international athlete trainer Arif Imam, international medalist Awtar Singh, international javelin thrower Jujhar Singh, and Sachin Shyam Kumar Sharma from the Eastern Master Athletic Association of East Singhbhum.
