Jamshedpur, Aug 6: On Sunday, a shocking incident occurred at Ishwar Lal jewellery shop in Gamharia Bazar, Adityapur, where three masked miscreants looted jewellery worth approximately Rs 70 lakh. The culprits entered the shop under the pretense of buying jewellery for a marriage and then brandished a pistol, threatening the jeweler. They proceeded to collect the valuable jewellery and fled the scene, leaving no traces behind.
The audacious robbery took place at around 11 o’clock in the morning, catching the shop’s staff and onlookers by surprise. To ensure their escape, the miscreants took away CCTV cameras and DVRs, and also damaged the shop staff’s mobile phones to prevent immediate communication.

Upon receiving the information, the police from Adityapur and Gamharia police stations arrived promptly to investigate the matter. However, the miscreants had taken precautions by wearing helmets to conceal their identities. Law enforcement is currently relying on nearby CCTV footage to aid in the investigation.
The incident has left the jeweller and the local community in shock, as they strive to recover from the unexpected attack. Station in-charge Rajan Kumar is personally leading the investigation, determined to bring the culprits to justice.
