Jamshedpur, July 27: Like every year, Marwari Mahila Manch�s Rakhi Mela 2015 kicked off at the Agrasen bhawan in Sakchi on Monday.
The mela tradition has been continued since the last 15 years. The mela will continue till July 30.
The prime target of the mela is to provide a common platform to the working class women as well as the homemakers.
The mela was inaugurated by SDO Alok Kumar. The mela displayed several gift items like sarees, bedsheet, toys for children, bags, fashion jewellary, kurtis etc.
The inaugural event was supported by Seema Jawanpuria, Alka Chetani, Manju Musaddi, Prabha Padiya, Veena Khirwal, Sushila Khirwal and Veena Agarwal.
