Jamshedpur, August 13: Marwari Mahila Manch (MMM) of Jamshedpur was adjudged the Best Branch. On Friday, the second executive meeting of Jharkhand State organized by the Ranchi unit of Marwari Mahila Manch was chaired by the organization’s State President Renu Dudhani in Ranchi. National Marwari Mahila Manch President Sharda Lakhotia from West Bengal was present as the chief guest.
The national convention for the session 2018-‘20 could not be held due to the prevailing COVID conditions and as such it was conducted on Friday, August 13 wherein national awards of the Manch were given away by the National President of the current session, Sharda Lakhotia. MMM Jamshedpur was adjudged the Best Branch for the session 2018-’20 that was collected by the branch president Vibha Dudhani.
Manju Musaddi and Bina Agarwal of Jamshedpur were presented the National Award for their exemplary work in the field of adult literacy. Prabha Padia was given the National Award for the formation of 15 branches in Telangana state. In the meeting, Manju Khandelwal, the elected Jharkhand State President for 2022-‘24, was honored.
Vibha Dudhani thanked all the women of the branch including Jaya Dokania, Lata Agarwal, Bina Khirwal, Bina Agarwal and Manju Musaddi on getting the honor of Best Branch. She said that Jamshedpur branch received the award due to allround support and cooperation of members. The president and secretary of all the 54 branches in Jharkhand were present in the meeting.
