Jamshedpur: A delegation of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha members led by party president Babulal Marandi today met Jharkhand governor Dr Syed Ahmad and handed over a memorandum to him regarding various issues related to development of Jharkhand and implementation of several pending projects.
The former Chief Minister, Babulal Marandi, asked the governor to intervene and ensure action in the franchise-based power supply system proposed to be introduced in Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Bokaro. The issue related to the floating of tender for road projects worth Rs 6000 by the state government was also raised during the meeting.
The JVM leader said the governor should intervene and ensure that government projects are carried out according to norms.
