Khunti, July 1: Arki Police has arrested a Maoist member Sadho alias Sadho Hembram.
Police has recovered 45 pieces of Maoist posters and a banner from him. SDPO Varun Rajak gave this information in a press conference on Monday. Naxal banners and posters found from the house during the raid
He said that on the basis of secret information, Sadho Hembram was arrested from his house. During this, banners and posters were recovered from the house. A bike was also seized.
The SDPO said that the arrested was constantly in touch with the Maoists. He was going to use the banners and posters recovered from his house to boycott the elections during the Lok Sabha elections. However, due to the activism of the police and paramilitary forces, he could not put up banners and posters anywhere.
He said that a total of three cases are registered against him in Arki police station. In which there is also a case of murder. In which he is accused of murder in the case registered on 22 December 2023.
Sado Hembram is also accused of murder. He was involved in the murder of Jeevan Hembram in Bohanda of Arki police station area on 22 December 2023.
