Jamshedpur, Aug 20: More than 160 people joined Bharatiya Janata Party at a function organized in Baridih on Tuesday. Baridih BJP Mandal president Santosh Thakur chaired the programme. The chief guest of the event was Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Dinesh Kumar. He welcomed the new members to the party and appealed to them to reach out to the people in preparation to the state assembly elections.
Potka MLA Menka Sardar was also present on the occasion. A similar membership induction event was held in Bagbera at BNR Maidan.
The party leaders present during the event included Bharat Singh, Krishna Gagrai, Anil Pandey, Seema Goswami, Anil Goswami, Dashrath Shukla, Arvind Singh and Arvind Pandey.
