Mansi Club Jamshedpur organizes girl child scholarship program

Jamshedpur, June 24: The Tata Motors Officers Wives Association held its Annual Girl Scholarship Program on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Telco Club. The esteemed presence of Ravindra Kulkarni, Head of Jamshedpur Tata Motors Plant, as the chief guest added to the significance of the event. The program witnessed the attendance of senior officials from Tata Motors, along with doctors, teachers, students, and representatives from NGOs.

Members of the Management Committee of Mansi Club, including Rashmi Kulkarni (President), Sarita Kumar (Secretary), Reena Padam (Joint Secretary), Ranjana Narayan (Treasurer), and Jyoti Battu (Joint Treasurer), were also present. They provided detailed insights into the various initiatives and activities undertaken by the Psychic Club. Alongside their work in promoting health, hygiene, environment, and livelihood, Mansi Club has been actively involved in advocating for girl child education for several years.

This year, Mansi Club extended financial assistance in the form of scholarships to 132 girl students from economically weaker families, studying in 15 different schools across the city. The program aims to empower these deserving girls by easing their educational journey and fostering their future prospects. In addition to the scholarship program, the members of Mansi Club organized a free eye check-up camp in the nearby village of Hurlung on June 10, 2023. The camp provided the residents of the village with the opportunity to have their eyes examined by professional doctors, ensuring access to essential healthcare services
