Jamshedpur, April 13: Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC), Jamshedpur, celebrated annual day on April 12, honouring the achievements of students and faculty members over the past year.
Dr Sushil Kumar Singh, Director of Medical Education, Jharkhand, and Principal of Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College, Hazaribagh, attended the event as the chief guest. He witnessed the recognition of academic and extracurricular excellence among the students and faculty.

Dr G Pradeep Kumar, Dean of MTMC, presented the annual report, highlighting significant milestones and accomplishments of medical and allied health students, as well as faculty members. Purvika Jain, President of the Student Council, shared the council’s contributions in areas such as sports, culture, literature, research, and community service.
A total of 41 students from MBBS and Allied Health Sciences (AHS) were presented with academic excellence awards. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to students who excelled in sports, cultural, and literary activities.

Faculty members from MBBS and AHS departments were recognised for their excellence in teaching and research.
The event concluded with a vibrant cultural performance by students, showcasing the journey and evolution of MTMC over the years, adding a nostalgic and celebratory touch to the occasion.
