Jamshedpur: Mangsir Navami Mahotsava was organized in a grand manner at Sri Rani Sati temple in Jugsalai on Wednesday.
The festival was also organized at Sri Shiva temple at Golmuri. The statues of Dadi Rani Sati was decorated on the occasion.
A kalash procession was taken out by a large number of devotees. A total of 1008 women participated in the procession.
The devotees danced to the religious songs. A bhajan programme was organized at the Ranglal Marriage Hall in the afternoon.
An evening bhajan programme was also held. Many artists from Kolkata and other cities performed during the programme.
