Jamshedpur, August 23: Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) launched a sanitation drive on Tuesday as soon as flood waters started receding. Garbage was removed from the flood affected localities and bleaching powder was sprayed across affected areas. Damaged streetlights were fixed. Streets and localities that had been flooded were fogged. MMC supplkied drinking water in tankers to residents of localities that had been flooded by swelling waters of Swarnrekha River.
