Jamshedpur, August 23: The Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum will hold Janata Darbar at Potka block on Saturday, August 27 and at Bodam on Monday, August 29.
The Janata Darbar at Potka and Bodam will be held by the DC to ensure that the government welfare schemes are provided to all eligible beneficiaries in quick time. The schemes include health, education, updating of Anganwadi voters’ lists, ration cards, pension, housing, bank loans on KCC, PM Kisan Yojna and others. The Darbars at the two blocks will also see to the fast disposal of applications for land related disputes, mutation suits, MGNREGA, caste certificates, residential and income certificates, bank, electricity, drinking water issues, litigation related to UID, labour, skill development, employment, welfare, fisheries related to agriculture and other issues.
Block level departmental employee have been directed to ensure timely disposal of public complaints received from 11 am to 4 pm by attending Janata Darbar to be convened by DC Vijaya Jadhav. Senior district and departmental officers will be present during the Darbars to be held at Potka and Bodam blocks on the stipulated dates.
