Jamshedpur: Mango Notified Area Committee (MNAC) executive officer Rajendra Prasad Gupta city manager S Rahman who jointly directed the 60 days� cleanliness drive, today inspected the Chhat prayer banks of the Swarnarekha river. They gave instructions for better cleanliness along the banks.
The drive along the river banks has ensured garbage removal from the river as well as from in and around the Swarnarekha banks. Some paths leading to the banks have been leveled to make the travel to the bank easier for Chhat devotees.
The effort for cleansing of the banks and leveling of the paths was made by a team comprising city manager S Rahman, brand ambassador Uttam Chakraborty, Mukhtar Alam Khan and many devotees.
