Mangal Path of Shri Rani Sati Dadi performed in Garhabasa

Jamshedpur, Aug 29: On the occasion of the auspicious Bhado Amavasya (the dark phase of the moon in the Hindu calendar month of Bhado) devotees performed that Mangal Path of the deity at Rani Sati Dadi Temple at Garhabasa in Golmuri. A team of 111women devotees recited the Mangal Path led by Aditi Bharadwaj and Saroj Agrawal. The women were dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire.

The main attractions were Akhand Jyot and 56 items of food for consecration. The prayers which commenced at 1 pm continued till 7 pm and concluded with the performance of Arti and distribution of consecrated food among devotees who comprised 300 devotees mostly women. The organizing committee included Madan Agrawal, Niraj Mishra, Naresh Mishra, Krishna Agrawal, Dipa Agrawal, Rupa Agrawal, Pushpa Mishra, Ratnesh Saharia, Vikas Gupta and others.
