Management teams to look after corona patients: Seraikela DC

Seraikela, August 5: The coronavirus cases are increasing at a rapid pace in Seraikela-Kharsawan district. 27 fresh cases were reported on Monday, August 3. Keeping eye on the recent developments, deputy commissioner A Dodde on Tuesday chaired a meeting with district officials and block level officials at DC district collectorate.� DC directed the block development officer and circle officer to form two to three management teams in their respective blocks who will look after the home quarantine/isolation of corona positive patient and people who have come in contact with the positive. The team will also have the responsibility of providing all facilities to the quarantine people. DC also asked the block development officer to keep an eye on the containment zones and also look after to provide all facilities to people under home quarantine. BDOs should also visit the containment zones time to time. Seraikela-Kharsawan SP Md Arshi informed that two police officials have been pressed into service at every containment zone of the district who will look after all activities in the zone. DC urged the residents of the district to follow COVID norms and do not move out of the house unnecessarily.� �
