Man loses Rs 42,000 to ATM fraud

Jadugora: A case of fraud came to light here on Wednesday in Jadugora after unidentified impostors withdrew Rs 42,000 from the bank account of one Bhole Shankar Singh.

Police sources said the accused persons called the victim while impersonating as the branch manager of SBI Jadugora and sought details of his ATM card and Aadhar card.

Soon after getting the details, the accused persons withdrew the said amount in three attempts.

Bhole Shankar called SP Rural Shailendra Barnwal and DSP Rural Ajit Vimal and complained about the fraud.

Police officials said they were investigating the case.
