Jamshedpur, April 12: In another case of gruesome murder in Kadma police station area, Raju Haripal with criminal antecedents killed his father-in-law Hara Naik with an iron pipe. He then whisked away his wife Nisha at knifepoint. The incident happened at Jaiprakash Nagar near the Kali Mandir. Relatives of the deceased took the body to MGMC Hospital where it was kept in the morgue.
The deceased’s wife informed that her husband, Hara Naik used to work as a laborer. Their son-in-law, Raju Haripal had been jailed for committing a robbery in an Adityapur temple and had been released a few days earlier. She said that Raju used to stay with them. Since Raju Haripal was a thief, his wife Nisha refused to stay with him. The deceased’s wife further stated that on Monday Raju was forcibly taking away Nisha at knifepoint when Hara Naik opposed. Raju hit Hara with an iron pipe and perforce took away Nisha with him. Hara Naik died instantaneously. The deceased’s wife expressed the fear that her son-in-law, Raju Haripal might kill their daughter too.
